The Surf:
Rich was born in Brighton, England and educated at Varndean Grammar. Earning a living working for British Telecom until 1994, he finally made the move to ‘paradise’ on the sunshine coast with his wife and three daughters.
The Beach:
A late starter in everything, art didn’t really enter his head until 2008 when he (accidentally) started his own unique and contemporary art style. Seaview Art Gallery were one of the first to appreciate and encourage this work and recognized his potential by inviting him to become a full member of the gallery. Rich associates his recent success to the kind encouragement given by the rest of the group.
