Ron Bryant

My creative journey is now mainly centred around painting landscapes and seascapes. I have been involved in the arts for over 30 years and have held many exhibitions of my art over the last 15.

This all began with my love of creativity taking hold at an early age as I studied commercial art at East Sydney Technical College in Sydney, which initially lit the flame. For several years I worked as a commercial photographer and business owner in Sydney. This experience offered insight into corporate life, taking me far away from my creative journey.

After many years, I returned to my first life because my creative drive remained strong. To explore printmaking, pastels, oils, acrylics, and photography. I also enjoy teaching, mentoring, and being involved in organising painting retreats both here and overseas.

My art is influenced by the beauty of the Australian landscape, so I try to paint outdoors, playing air as much as possible. This is such a personal connection that enriches my soul. In my work, I try to convey to the viewer the excitement and emotion that I am feeling and seeing by capturing the energy, atmosphere, and light. Hopefully this can be found in my art.

My painting generally represents vibrant colours in an impressionist style.
